Bio

Katie Sweeting is an English professor at Hudson County Community College and the co-author of one non-fiction book, The Power of a City at Prayer. She has written one historical novel, Remnant (about the daughter and sister of Olaudah Equiano), and one contemporary novel, Expecting (featuring Deaf and hearing families whose lives intertwine). She was a Fulbright-Nehru scholar in India during spring 2022, teaching two courses at Fergusson College in Pune.
